Good observation! Do you think there might be a way to modify the design to ensure proper oil distribution to the chain?

@@TrendDIY You have to mount the bar and chain and figure the exact point where the lubrification hole of the bar is (mark the spot on the protection guard , drill a hole there and mount the oil tank there , the oil must travel trough it) . On the other side of the hole weld a nut (acts like a oil channel between the tank and the lubrification hole in the bar). Grind the nut at the same level with the washers you put on the screws that fix the bar(they must be at the same level). Or.....fix in the hole a piece of rubber tube , or silicone tube that do the same job...but is the risk that the wood chips will tear it down....and you have to modify the support bracket (the long one) to make space for the oil tank.

You're absolutely right! Overdoing the oil in the gasoline can cause problems like excess smoke and even damage to the engine. Just a few drops is all you need for proper lubrication. Thanks for the tip, it's definitely something to keep in mind when using chainsaws!

@@TrendDIY ja, und statt die schwarze hochgradig karzinöse altöl-pampe in den kettenöl-tank zu gießen, können sie auch handelsübliches rapsöl verwenden, das jede normale hausfrau zuhause in der küche zum salat garnieren verwendet !

@@manfredriedelsheimer8927 Absolut richtig! Rapsöl ist eine umweltfreundlichere und ungiftige Alternative für Kettenöl. Es funktioniert gut und ist oft sogar günstiger. Außerdem schont es die Gesundheit und die Umwelt. Vielen Dank für den praktischen Tipp!

@@TrendDIY Se podria colocar algun tipo de engranaje reductor,para tener mas potencia de arrastre en la cadena. Un engranaje pequeño en la amoladora y otro el doble de grande en el piñon que mueve directamente la cadena,de esta forma reducirias las revoluciones de la cadena ganando potencia de arrastre y reducirias el esfuerzo del motor de la amoladora...

@@TrendDIYciao , da premettere che hai fatto un ottimo lavoro , se noti bene alla fine verso il 13,50 14,03 del filmato si vede bene che nel rimontare la catena è stata messa all'incontrario cioè i denti hanno un verso per tagliare , la lama si pu o capovolgere in qualsiasi modo il suo lavoro è quello di far da guida alla catena, comunque la mia è soltanto una piccola osservazione , si puòosservare bene alla fine del filmato , che in sostanza è un'ottina invenzione fatta bene , ciao è buon lavoro.-
